What is a successful smart import?
A successful smart import is counted only when Locivia processes a supported travel video and returns at least one usable, verified place candidate for you to review. One video counts as one import—even when it contains several places. Pasting a URL is not an import, and failed, unsupported, inaccessible, duplicate or unverified results never count.
Places appear under Needs Review first. Only places you approve become pins on your map.
Saving a link is not an import; the allowance applies only to successful smart processing.
Locivia is free to download on the App Store. Locivia Pro is an optional in-app subscription purchased and managed through the App Store.

What counts as a successful smart import?
A successful smart import is counted only when Locivia processes a supported travel video and returns at least one usable, verified place candidate. Failed, duplicate, unsupported, inaccessible or unsuccessful imports do not count.
What does not count?
Private or inaccessible videos, unsupported links, processing failures, duplicate links, retries and videos where no place can be identified do not consume the allowance.
Does a detected place immediately appear on my map?
No. Locivia presents detected places for review. Only user-approved places become map pins.
Which video platforms are supported?
Locivia supports public Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts. Availability may depend on the source platform, region, privacy settings and whether the original content remains accessible.
What happens when I reach my monthly Pro limit?
Existing sources, places, maps and trips remain available. Smart processing becomes available again when the monthly allowance resets.
What happens after I use my 15 free imports?
You keep your existing saved inspiration, places, maps, trips and plans. Subscribe to Locivia Pro when you want to process additional travel videos.
Does the annual plan provide 3,600 imports immediately?
No. Annual subscribers receive 300 successful imports per billing month, shared across the host and invited travelers. Imports refresh monthly—not 3,600 imports upfront.
Do failed imports consume the allowance?
No. Failed, unsupported and duplicate imports do not count.
Do you permanently store social-media videos?
Locivia does not permanently store the original social-media video. We store the submitted link, relevant source metadata, extracted place information and the traveler’s saved decisions. Authorized processing providers may temporarily process available content to identify places.
Can I plan with other people?
Shared Libraries let travel partners collect, review and organize inspiration together. The Library owner’s subscription and smart-import allowance apply to that shared Library.
Does Locivia offer a free trial?
Locivia does not use a time-limited trial. Every account starts with 15 successful smart imports at no charge, so travelers can experience the core workflow before subscribing.
Does Pro provide unlimited imports?
No. Locivia Pro includes 300 successful smart imports per billing month, shared across the host and invited travelers. This allowance covers successful processing and place verification.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple subscription settings. Cancellation preserves Pro access until the end of the paid billing period, and your saved Locivia data is preserved.
