How can we help?

Search the common questions below. If none of them match, send a message and a real person on the Locivia team will read it.

10 topics

  • Which links can I share to Locivia?

Public links from major social platforms and ordinary web pages. If a link is private, region-locked, or otherwise unreadable, Locivia tells you it couldn’t open it instead of silently failing — the save stays in your Library so you can add the place yourself.

  • Why couldn’t Locivia identify a place in my video?

Because the video may never say where it was filmed. Locivia reads captions, descriptions, and on-screen text; when none of those name a location, it reports “couldn’t identify” rather than guessing. You can add the place manually and keep the original link attached.

  • A suggested place is wrong. Can I fix it?

Yes. Every suggestion needs your review — approve it, correct it to the right location, or remove it. Nothing appears on your map until you approve it.

  • Do I need to create a trip before saving something?

No. Saves with no destination go into your general Inspiration Library, and you can move them into a trip whenever the trip becomes real.

  • Can I plan with other people?

Shared Libraries are coming during the beta. When they land, you’ll invite people by link and everyone will add to the same approved map.

  • Is Locivia available on Android?

Not yet. Locivia is a native iPhone app today. Android isn’t scheduled, and we won’t promise a date we can’t keep.

  • Does Locivia post to my social accounts?

Never. Locivia only processes the links you deliberately share to it. It doesn’t read your feed and it doesn’t post anything anywhere on your behalf.

  • How do I delete my account and data?

See the account deletion page for exactly what gets deleted, how long it takes, and how to submit the request.

  • How do I make a privacy request?

Use the privacy choices page, or send a message below with the topic “Privacy request”.

  • Something in the app is broken. What should I include?

Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and include the app version and device model if you have them. That usually saves a round trip.

Response times

Locivia is a small beta team. Expect a reply within a few business days — and an honest answer if something you need isn’t built yet.

Include as much detail as you can. For technical problems, the app version and device model help a lot.
