Terms of Use

Plain-language terms for using Locivia while it is in beta.

Draft for owner review. This document is a plain-language draft. The legal operator name, postal address, governing jurisdiction, and effective date still need to be supplied and reviewed before Locivia relies on it publicly. Nothing here has been invented to fill those gaps.

Beta software

Locivia is in active beta. Features can change, place suggestions can be wrong, and availability is not guaranteed. Always confirm opening hours, access, and safety yourself before relying on a saved place.

Your account

You must be at least 13 to use Locivia. Keep your login details secure and give us accurate contact information.

Your content

Your saves, notes, and trips remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process, and show that content back to you and to people you deliberately share a Library with.

Subscriptions and billing

Locivia offers a Free plan and Locivia Pro as auto-renewable subscriptions: Pro Monthly at $12.99 per month and Pro Annual at $79.99 per year (United States pricing). There is no free trial, no lifetime purchase, and no one-trip pass at launch.

  • Payment is processed through the Apple App Store using the Apple ID that made the purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless canceled through Apple before the renewal date. Manage or cancel in your Apple account settings.
  • App Store prices may vary by country or region, local currency, and applicable taxes.
  • Canceling stops future renewals. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund; refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s applicable purchase and refund processes.
  • Deleting your Locivia account and canceling your subscription are separate actions — doing one does not do the other.
  • Pro purchases are not active during the TestFlight beta. Beta participants may receive temporary access to Pro features for testing.

Feature and fair-use limits

Plans include allowances rather than unlimited processing. The Free plan includes 15 successful smart imports; Locivia Pro includes 100 successful smart imports per month. A smart import is a unique link Locivia successfully processes into suggested places — failed results, duplicates, saved-only links, and manual places do not consume the allowance. Imports made inside a shared Library count against that Library owner’s allowance. We may apply reasonable fair-use limits to protect the service, and features may change while Locivia is in beta.

Reaching a limit or ending a subscription does not delete your existing Locivia data. New links remain stored as “Saved only” until an applicable allowance is available.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t use Locivia to break the law or another platform’s terms.
  • Don’t scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or attack the service.
  • Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to share.

Third-party links and content

Locivia processes links you share from other platforms and shows information about places from third-party sources. We don’t control that content and aren’t responsible for it.

Disclaimers and liability

Locivia is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for travel decisions made using the app.

Termination

You can stop using Locivia and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

The governing jurisdiction has not been set yet and will be added before launch.
